Strengthening Our Lowry Business Community, Together

By Derek Camunez, Lowry Business Alliance President

As we move through another season of change, I want to extend a warm welcome to the newest members of the Lowry Business Alliance. Thank you for joining our organization and investing in a stronger business community. You made an important decision—not only for your business, but for the future of Lowry.
Small businesses continue to face challenges ranging from rising costs to changing consumer habits. In times like these, success is rarely achieved alone. It is built through relationships, collaboration, and a community that believes in supporting one another. That is exactly what the Lowry Business Alliance is all about.
Membership is more than networking. It’s about creating meaningful connections, sharing ideas, celebrating successes, solving challenges together, and finding opportunities that help all of us grow. Every introduction, every event, every referral, and every partnership strengthens our local business community and makes Lowry an even better place to live, work, and shop.
I also want to thank our existing members for your continued commitment. Your willingness to welcome new businesses, share your expertise, and support fellow members is what makes this organization so special. Together, we create an environment where businesses can thrive and where entrepreneurs know they have a team standing beside them.
I encourage each of you to get involved. Attend an event, introduce yourself to someone new, invite a fellow business owner to join us, and whenever possible, choose to support a fellow member. These simple actions have a lasting impact and help ensure our local businesses remain vibrant and successful.
On behalf of our Board of Directors, thank you for being part of the Lowry Business Alliance. Together, we are building more than a business organization—we are building a connected, resilient community of more than ten years in existence that supports one another and believes that when local businesses succeed, our entire neighborhood benefits.
I look forward to seeing you at our next upcoming event, August 20th, 5:30p-7:30p at Hangar II for a fun Wine Pop-Up Mixer!
